Alright folks, just like Darren mentioned, we haven't gotten into politics yet. But after our recent board meeting, we realized we can't avoid the topic anymore. Imagine having a music podcast and ignoring Taylor Swift or rock bands like ACDC! It's just not possible, right?
So, picture this: you're running a podcast that steers clear of politics, and suddenly the former president shows up saying wild things about nearby towns. It's surreal. I've watched presidential debates my whole life, starting with Reagan, and let me tell you, current debates are hilarious. We've even got bingo cards now! My ten-year-old watched with us and loved it.
Debates always have memorable moments. Remember, "You're no Jack Kennedy"? Classic! Our podcast, though comedy-focused, can't ignore the craziness of today's politics. They came to us, not the other way around! Since starting in 2020, we've navigated through COVID, January 6th, and countless campaigns. We've tried to avoid politics, but it's become comedy gold.
